In the third quarter of 2023, the top five photo and video applications on a unified platform in Europe demonstrated noteworthy performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at their trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream saw a steady climb in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $4.4M in the final week of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of about 694K in late July, while weekly active users consistently hovered around 453M.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor experienced a peak in weekly revenue of around $1.2M in late July. Weekly downloads showed a declining trend from 346K in mid-July to 202K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decrease, from 2.7M in early July to 2.1M by late September.

Snapchat displayed an upward trend in revenue, reaching approximately $878K in the last week of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 850K weekly. Active users increased slightly from 113M at the beginning of the quarter to 115M by the end.
